I’m a professional photographer based in Washington, D.C., with over three decades of experience. My career began as a newspaper stringer for The Ocala Star-Banner, where I developed a photojournalistic approach that continues to shape how I tell stories through images.

I later opened my own studio, focusing on portrait and event photography while raising my family. Whether I’m working in a studio, on the street, or on location, I’m drawn to portraits that reflect individuality and genuine connection.

Alongside portraiture, landscape and travel photography have become an essential part of my creative practice. Being in nature helps me slow down and see more clearly, and I aim to capture not just how a place looks, but how it feels.

My work is rooted in visual storytelling and community. Whether photographing people or landscapes, my goal is to create images that feel thoughtful, honest, and lasting.
